School Holiday Groups
General Info
We take groups during the day, sessions can be booked in 2-hour slots. We offer 3 different session types for holiday groups. Read more to find out what suits you.
We typically require at least two weeks’ notice for school bookings to ensure appropriate levels of staffing. If you would like to make a short-notice booking, please contact info@rockitclimbing.com.au
A 20% absentee rate is allowed for bookings.
For example: if you book for 20 participants and 12 arrive, you will still be charged for 16. The minimum amount will be 10 participants.
Pricing and Inclusions
Pricing is based on groups of 10 or more students with a $170 minimum.
$17 per student
Cost is inclusive of:
entry
harnesses
torches for tunnels
safety instruction for session type
coffee for instructors/leaders
Shoe rental is not included but can be added on at an additional cost.
Session Type 1: Auto-Belays and Tunnels Session
(single session, 1 - 2 hours)
Perfect for young child care outings, school holiday care groups, and organisations. Let our experienced staff introduce you to a well-rounded climbing and tunneling experience. A unique and cost-effective way to fill in the holidays!
1 to 2 hours of climbing
Access to 11 auto-belays
Access to 10 tunnels
Includes harnesses and torches; shoe rental not included
Safety orientation provided for auto-belays and tunnels ONLY
Ages 6+
Session Type 2: Basic Belay Safety
(2 sessions minimum, 1.5 - 2 hours each)
Ideal for returning school holiday care groups, or enrichment classes focused on movement, collaboration, and skill building.
First Session: auto-belay and belay safety inductions focused on indoor climbing safety (three point belay technique)
Second Session: safety review, belay practice, and climbing!
Access to 13 top ropes.
Access to 11 auto-belays
Access to 10 tunnels
Includes harnesses and torches; shoe rental not included
Ages 12+
Session Type 3: Full Belay Induction
(3 sessions minimum, 1.5 - 2 hours each)
Ideal for enrichment / outdoor education classes with a rock climbing unit. Give your students a safe and controlled environment to practice the skills necessary for developing their climbing skills.
First Session: auto-belay and belay safety inductions focused on indoor climbing safety (five point belay technique)
Second Session: safety review, belay practice, and climbing!
Third Session: movement and technique focus and challenges
Fourth Session + : let’s discuss your goals!

Ages 12+
Using our Online Booking System
Upon booking, our system will email you a link with online waivers to forward to parents. The system will help keep track of all your students’ waivers, so all you have to do on the day is show up, kick back, and drink some complimentary coffees (or tea) on us!
When booking through our reservation system, please put the email of your school administrator for the invoice to be sent to if possible to streamline the process!
