School Groups

We cater to all ages, primary, high school, and college. All the way from outdoor leadership classes to end of year activities.

What you need to know.

  • Bookings are in 2-hour slots.

  • We have 2 session types (read below).

  • Your booking includes harness hire, inductions, a private room, and 2 complimentary coffees.

*Shoe and torch rental are not included but can be added on at an additional cost.

Pricing.

$18 per student (Grades K-6)

$20 per student (Grades 7-12)

We typically require at least two weeks’ notice for school bookings to ensure appropriate levels of staffing. If you would like to make a short-notice booking, please contact info@rockitclimbing.com.au

Session Types

  • Single Session (1 - 2 hours)

    Perfect for enrichment, phys ed, or end of the year outings. A unique and cost-effective way to introduce your students to the world of indoor rock climbing!

    • Ages 6+

    • 1 to 2 hours of climbing

    • Access to 11 auto-belays

    • Access to 10 tunnels

    • Includes harnesses

    • Safety orientation provided for auto-belays and tunnels ONLY

  • Minimum of 2 Sessions (1.5 - 2 hours each)

    Ideal for returning phys ed or outdoor ed classes, or enrichment classes focused on movement, collaboration, and skill building.

    • Ages 12+

    • First Session: auto-belay and belay safety inductions focused on indoor climbing safety (five point belay technique)

    • Second Session: safety review, belay practice, and climbing!

    • Any Additional Sessions: we will discuss with teachers to work towards student goals.

    • Access to 13 top ropes.

    • Access to 11 auto-belays

    • Access to 10 tunnels

    • Includes harnesses

Terms and Conditions

Upon booking, you will receive two emails, the first a confirmation email, and the second is a form you will need to fill out about the details of your bookings.

A 20% absentee rate is allowed for bookings.

For example: if you book for 20 participants and 12 arrive, you will still be charged for 16. The minimum amount will be 10 participants.

*Groups would also incur a 50% minimum charge for cancellations within 24 hrs of arrival.
